The County issued RFP-750 for the Port to procure at least two (2) new Super Post-Panamax STS Gantry Cranes. The new cranes will augument the two (2) existing Super Post-Panamax STS Gantry Cranes 11-12 currently in operation at the Port of Miami. The new cranes will have the same lifting capapabilities than Cranes 11-12 but with greater outreach and hoist height to accomodate the largest container ships. It will also incorporate new technologies and the latest control systems.
