May 1, 2012 Update: The commissioning of of the PFCs of Cranes 4-6 commenced on ???, ???, 2012. Crane 4 commissioning was completed on  ???, ???, 2012. All 3 cranes should be completed by ???, ???, 2012. Thereafter, we will commence removal of the diesel engines power system from Cranes 7-10.

April 20, 2012 Update: Crane 7 was commissioned and returned to service on Monday, April 16, 2012. Commissioning and testing of Crane 8 started on Saturday, April 15, 2012. Crane 8 commissioning work was completed and the crane returned to service on Friday, April 20, 2012.

Crane 9 commissioning work was completed and the crane returned to service on Saturday, March 19, 2012.

March 13, 2012 Update: Crane 9 was removed from service on Friday, March 9, 2012 to commence final electrification work. Commissioning and testing started on March 12, 2012. On Tuesday Crane 10 completed its endurance test and it is ready to return to work on Thursday, March 15, 2012. The endurance test of Crane 9 is scheduled for later in the week.

The PFC (Power Factor Correction) equipment need to be repaired and commissioned on Cranes 4-6 which work will commence once Cranes 9-10 are back in service. Thereafter in early-or-mid April 2012, the final Electrification Work will commence on Cranes 7-8 and commission and test will be performed in the same manner as with Cranes 9-10. The work will be coordinated with the Port’s Operation and crane users.

March 5, 2012 Update: Crane 10 was removed from service to commence final electrification work. Commissioning and testing is to start on March 8, 2012.

February 13, 2012 Update: The electrification work on cranes 7 thru 10 is nearly complete to start the commissioning which is being tentatively scheduled to commence on March 5, 2012.

December 20, 2011 Update: After delay in delivery of substation components, the two (2) substations were repaired and have been reinstalled on cranes 9-10 on December 20, 2011.
