Port of Miami Crane Management, Inc., (PMCM aka Crane Management) is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced third (3rd) party testing and inspection firms for the Gantry Crane Rail Refurbishment of both landside and waterside Crane rails at PortMiami Gantry Crane Wharves on the south side of Lummus Island Container Terminal.
The Work comprises of professional inspection and testing services of the Gantry Crane Rails’ refurbishment which is the repair and replacement of the existing Rail System that were not replaced under Phase 1 of the project. The Work includes but is not limited to the following types of inspections and tests: Geotechnical, Concrete, Asphalt, Steel, Thermite Welding and Grout Testing.
Proposers are required to submit their qualifications, experience, proposed methods to perform the work, and price/rates in accordance with the Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements. Time is critical and work is schedule to commence on August 17, 2020 and be completed preferably prior to November 22, 2021. There will be a Pre-proposal conference on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10:00AM EST, outside of PMCM office trailer located at PortMiami at 2886 Port Blvd, Miami, FL 33132. The bidding period shall close on August 6, 2020 at 2:00PM EST.
