Port of Miami Crane Management, Inc., (PMCM aka Crane Management) is soliciting proposals from Gantry Crane Contractors qualified and experienced in Ship-to-Shore (STS aka Quay) Gantry Container Cranes refurbishments, upgrades, electronic upgrades, installation and repairs with no less than ten (10) years of same type of work. The Contractor shall perform the RFP specified Work of Specific Refurbishments and Repairs on PortMiami Gantry Cranes 4-6 and Cranes 11-12 as further described in the RFP. Under any Contract issued as a result of this RFP, Crane Management, at its sole discretion, shall have the option to contract with the successful qualified Contractor for the services as described in the RFP. Qualifications and prior experience are strictly required.
Interested Contractors are invited to submit their proposed schedule, methods to perform the work and price in accordance with the specifications outlined in the RFP. The RFP package will be available on Thursday, April 25, 2024, and can be obtained by e-mail to Millie Garcia at [email protected]. There will be a Pre-Proposal Meeting and site-visit held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2650 Port Blvd., 2nd Floor, Miami, FL 33132, 9:00 a.m. EST. It is encouraged that all interested Contractors attend, prior to proposal submission. The bidding period shall close on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM EST.
